The last couple months I have been kind of sick of men. Actually, I should say sickened by men. I have been convinced that women are doomed because men are the most repulsive creatures on this planet. So for awhile now Jim from "The Office" has been my dream boy because he's a great guy, treats women with respect, likes good music, dresses well, is tall, and is imaginary. PERFECT! But now, Jim is starting to prove that seriously ALL men are dogs. I am Team Pam, but Jim is being so unfair to Karen and is acting like an asshole, or typical male. Yes, I know these characters of fictional, but my theory is that if my imaginary perfect man isn't perfect then really, women are doomed. Things need to turn around with Jim or I really may as well just give up now. My birthday is next weekend so next Thursday better have a new episode so I can start out my 22nd year with a happy thought about men.

So I'm back from Boston and New York which means this post will be very long and contain lots of photos. Once Jenny sends me her pictures there will be probably another post with pictures at a later date.

Anyway, Boston and New York were amazing and I can't believe I'm back in Southern California where I have to drive a car and it is always sunny. This was definitely one of the best vacations I've had.

Here are the ladies I went with. Jenny is on the left and Katie is on the right. This was in our hotel room when we were in New York City.
Obviously, this is Times Square. We got a hotel in Times Square for $100. Great deal. Usually when I'm in New York I don't do all the touristy stuff like Times Square, but for $100, why not?
Here is a random picture of the city. I'm sure you heard about the weird smell that was in Manhattan and they thought it was a terrorist attack at first. Well, we were there that day. We had gone out the night before and so we were a little tired and hung over and the entire morning when we were trying to sleep we kept hearing sirens going off. We thought there was a terrorist attack and then we found out that it was just some weird smell coming from Jersey. Argh.
This is Little Italy. Good eating. MMM
What is better than watching Anderson Cooper on TV? A GIANT photo of him in Times Square!

We also went to Ground Zero. The site itself is literally a massive hole in the ground, but the memorial with the pictures is what is really haunting. There were a couple pictures that I had to not look at because they were so upsetting. I am definitely glad I went. Even though 9/11 was a horrific event for America, being at that site made me realize how disconnected I was from the situation since I was all the way in California. It was an eye opening experience to be standing in front of it.
Hung over ladies in Manhattan freezing to death. I don't know what it is about Katie and me, but we are a drinking duo. When Katie used to live in Long Beach she was my drinking buddy and whenever we go out together we ALWAYS make friends with the bartender and get free alcohol for the night. So we went to an Irish pub in NYC and we made friends with the bartender and got free alcohol. Katie also kissed him because he was cute and Irish. Later that week I was kissed by another Irish boy. They are strange on the East Coast.
After two days in New York City we went back to Boston. Here is the state house where Katie will be working next semester.
We did some ice skating while we were in Boston. I had NEVER ice skated before in my entire life. The first 10 minutes I was holding onto the side and slowly, but surely making my way around the rink, but after a few times around I started to kick some ass and I was skating on my own. I even attempted to go backwards, but I didn't do so well. I did not fall once though. I was proud of myself. Ice skating is fun, but it definitely works the legs. We were all feeling it the next day.
We went to the JFK museum. That was really neat and this part of it was amazing. See the clouds reflected in the windows?
This is a picture of Boston from the JFK museum.
A random building near BU.
Random street in BostonLast, but certainly not least, Fenway Park! My favorite thing. I cannot wait for baseball season to start. The Giants now have the hottest man in baseball as their number one pitcher and good things are bound to come. I can't wait to go to a game at Fenway this summer!!

So that was my trip to the East Coast. It was amazing and I miss it. It may have been cold, but I loved it. I can't wait to go back!

Happy new year!

I'm back in Southern California after being in Redding for way too long of a time, but I'm flying to Boston on Saturday morning! Then on Sunday I'm going to New York. I can't wait! I'll be back on the night of the 11th and I will know if I will be moving to San Francisco or Boston in June. I'll have lots of pictures. So let's just hope I don't pass out on the streets one night and freeze to death! See you when I get back!
