As excited as I am about moving to San Francisco, being away from my life in Southern California has been really difficult for me. Maybe it's because I'm in Redding where there is nothing to do and no one I know lives here anymore. So my trip to Boston this past week was greatly needed.
For my graduation present my dad took me to Fenway Park to see the Giants and Red Sox. I have dreamed of going to Fenway for most of my life so it was a dream come true.
Here I am at Fenway out in the bleachers. I like the bleachers because we had a great view of the entire park. Fenway isn't that big of a park so even if you're out in centerfield in the bleachers you can still see everything that is going on with the game. It was a great experience to have with my dad. I haven't done had any good father-daughter moments with my dad in years so it was great to spend that moment with him.
The Fenway Park sign ontop of the press booths.
On Saturday my dad flew to Michigan to meet up with my mom to see my brother so I stayed behind to spend time with my friend, Katie. Saturday afternoon we went out to New Hampshire. I had never been to NH and it is gorgeous. I really liked it. So that night we came back to Boston and went out on the town and this is what happened. Drunkeness.
I am not flipping off the camera in this picture. This dumbass stuck his burning cigarette into my finger. Luckily, I was drunk so it numbed the pain a little, but I felt something hurting my finger and I looked down and I had a burning ember on my poor finger. So I now have this ugly wart looking this on it which it what I was trying to show in this picture.
I just liked this picture because it shows the beautiful buildings in Boston and the storm brewing above them.
The Boston Harbor. The weather was awesome when I was there, luckily. It rained for two seconds on Saturday night and the rest of the time it wasn't very hot.
We went and sat at the harbor for a little bit and noticed there were jelly fish in the water! Who knew?!
I liked Boston a lot more this time. My friend had to work on Monday so I was able to go explore the city by myself and I got the feel of the city a lot more this time. Plus, it was summer so a lot more people were out. I give Boston two-thumbs up.
