Yes, it is 2:45AM on a Sunday night, or should I say Monday morning, and I have just now finished my 5 case briefs for Moot Court. I have class at 9:30 this morning which means I have to be up in 4 hours and I am in no way even close to being ready for bed. Not to mention, I have class tomorrow from 9:30AM to 9:15PM. Do I want to cry? Maybe a little.
I absolutely in no way can skip any of my classes tomorrow which is even a more painful thought and what is even more painful is to think of what next week is going to be like. 5 more case briefs, a paper, and a test.
The word briefed should not be used in reference to the task of case briefing. It is way too deceiving and evil and misleading. When you have a 30 page case in 8 pt font from 1890 is there really an easy way to summarize it and apply it to the competition case? The answer is NO!
Now I am going to go lay in my piles of papers and try to get some work done. The only thing that keeps me happy is this:
Thanks Gwen! It is honestly my favorite thing in the entire world right now!! And on that note I will say this..."That's what she said...or he said...."
